The Kural (Penguin Classics)

This is one of the earliest classics of Tamil literature and dates the period between the 2nd century BC and the 8th century AD. It is a book of ethics, in the style of Aristotle's "Ethics", but different in that it is written in the form of couplets - 1330 in all.
