Excel Applications for Accounting Principles

This textbook introduces students to the power of spreadsheets. It contains over 50 spreadsheet problems that reinforce principles of accounting concepts. The problems incorporate formula development and model building skills that may be used in a variety of accounting applications. Emphasis is placed on what-if analysis.
New to the Edition

All instructions and figures have been updated to match Microsoft® Excel 2010. The new edition allows students to take advantage of the user-friendly features and be prepared to use Excel in their career.

Specific major changes for Microsoft® Excel 2010 include: A new “File” tab that takes over much of the previous functions of the Office button (open, save, print, close, and so forth). The Print command structure has been significantly reorganised. Also, previewing printouts is now done in a differently and instructions for changing global fonts follow a new procedure.
